What are we celebrating?

October 6, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

What are we celebrating? ‘Independence ofcourse’ ahh no vex ohh,am aware but independence from what? And she whispered; independence from the british colony.Chei!! ‘Nna’ re u serious,so u mean that we will eat isiewu and all the orishirishi today, biko where is the venue of this particular party and who is the host abi na hostess??loL

One of the items in the shopping list of a 49 years old man is ‘DYE’ oh yes black hair dye because he still wants to look young,he needs to dye those unwanted grey hairs, dont be suprised if u see him in oniru beach lagos singing along to the hit song ‘ olenu pon pon pon’,he evens likes to use the term ‘kokolet’ because he thinks that he is still in his 20′s..baba no vex joor, even me wey dey write,i no wan old ohhh atall atall..

Anyway lets get to the real point.what are we celebrating??NIGERIA AT 49…like 2baba says…’eeh no be small thing ohhh’.Nigeria have been independent since 1960 but are we really independent?I know whatt you want to say now ‘Rome was not bulit in a day abi’ You re right ‘jare’ and am very sure Nigeria will not change in a day but when??how?? and who will change this great nation

GOOD PEOPLE GREAT NATION!!! we still depend on the new age colony to refine our crude oil,we export this our crude to this colonial countries where they refine the crude and take the other raw materials that comes out from our crude which can used in different ways to develop our country in aspects of road constructions and so on.It is no more news to Nigerians that the price of fuel can raise anyday,it is a normal phenomenon. How long are we going to export our crude oil to these countries, even when we have to pay massive import and landing duties. Why cant we upgrade our own refinaries? In that way we can save cost, reduce the price of fuel, create jobs for the masses.

Power is the cell membrane of any developing or developed country. The only place that can boast of steady electricity in Nigeria might be our swagga ‘ASO ROCK’..49 years and we still sleep in darkness with the mosiqutios singing another version of ‘yahooze’ in our ears.
How can mobile providers like mtn, zain and so on reduce their tariffs when they depend on generators…Did u just ask me why coca cola left Nigeria to Ghana?maybe they went to see Obama during his visit to Ghana and never came back. They also left with their jobs turning many Nigerian breadwinners to ‘breadloosers’ while they create jobs in Ghana and help them in their fast growing economy… They left in order to minimise the cost of production due to lack of power because if they dont leave then maybe a bottle Coke will be the same price with a bottle of Star lager beer in Nigeria.

Are we also celebrating education in Nigeria?maybe i have to call DR SAM EGWU,the honorable minister of Education to ask him why the universites are still on strike,” ahh i no get his number ooh” Is education not part of the seven point agenda??How can we rebrand Nigeria without education? What is the future of this university students that are kept at home to suffer though few of them have joined the lastest hussle in town…did u say yahoo yahoo??e be like say u be jjc???havent you heard about the ‘KIDNAPPING INDUSTRY’anyway u can find out for yourself when you go to any state in the southeastern Nigeria, make sure you have a nice car and your swagger is on point and please dont forget to go with ur ransom money incase if you are someone like me that dosent have anyone to call when held hostage..Anyway the youths are the leaders of tomorrow and this youths needs to be educated…Uncle sam, biko do this nation a favour, give this teachers what they want.abeg Oga..

The only independent sector in Nigeria is the entertainment industry, yes this is the area where people are doing their own things without depending on the government. This sector is the only factor that is keeping nigeria together as one,no matter our differences we still dance to the same song irrespective of the origin or language. Is this our entertainment truly independent????????NO NO NO ATALL ATALL OHH,we depend on ALABA..I must thump up Nigerian entertainers who still delivers even though the blood sucking pirates are preventing them to enjoy the sweat and hardwork.

I urge all Nigerians to celebrate being Nigeria everyday because all we got is hope and faith but Nigeria is in our hands, how can we move forward when all we think is to defraud our fellow brothers, how can the leaders of tomorrow be better than the leaders of today, from what i see today the leaders of tomorrow might be worse than our current leaders because most of the youths only hears and speaks money.Truth and morals have gone on holiday and we dont know when they will come back so our youths will embrace them and sing ‘OYOYO’ because only the truth can set us free, the the truth will reduce corruption, our democracy depends on the truth, free and fair is the nickname for truth cuz ‘OMO NO TIME OHH’ if we all can make our own good Nigeria in our own nuclear families then all our families will come together to be the new Nigeria where truth, trust and fairness will be the order of the day….chei it is 3.05am,i wan go sleep jooor..make una catch fun sha….dont mind me…am just bored…GOD BLESS NIGERIA ODIKWANU-EASY!!!! SHAKAR
